Riyadh — Mubasher: The Capital Market Authority (CMA) announced that Lamha Tanbu has fulfilled the necessary requirements to commence operations under its financial technology (FinTech) experimental permit.

This authorization allows the company to test its financial advisory service utilizing artificial intelligence tools within the Kingdom’s regulatory sandbox, according to an official statement on 31 August 2026.

The commencement of operations follows a decision issued by the CMA Board on 14 May 2025, which granted the initial permit for the technology trial.

The authorization is governed by the Capital Market Law, issued under Royal Decree No. M/30 dated 02/06/1424H, and its executive regulations.

By meeting the commencement criteria, Lamha Tanbu is now positioned to deploy its AI-driven advisory solutions to investors. This move aligns with the CMA’s broader efforts to foster innovation in the financial sector and provide a structured environment for the development of emerging technologies.

The regulator continues to oversee the FinTech Experimental Permit framework to ensure market integrity and investor protection while supporting digital transformation in the Saudi capital market.
